Employee Spotlight - Billy Morley

Lake Erie Golf Cars wants to introduce you to their employees to know the faces you will be working with when you choose LEGC. Every so often, we will highlight one of our very own and provide a little insight on who they are and what they enjoy. Today, we are going to highlight Billy Morley in the Customs Department.

LEGC stands alone when it comes to pushing the possibilities of golf carts. From 15-inch screens with 7.1 surround sound to a simple light kit, LEGC can make it all happen. Thanks to the creative mind and abilities of Billy Morley. He has been with LEGC for six years and has been in the customs department the entire time. His task is taking the visions the customer has for their perfect golf cart and making it happen. One of the things he enjoys about this position is that he is tasked with something and told to make it work. The challenge is daily, and creative solutions are a must. Billy also enjoys working by himself and using the skills he has mastered along the way to make a golf cart come to life. 

The job doesn’t come without challenges, however. There is such a high demand for golf carts and accessories that the supply chain can hold orders or cause Billy to pivot on the solutions. There are also instances of a golf cart going so far above and beyond the norm that it pushes the problem-solving part of Billy’s brain into overdrive. However, if it is possible, Billy will get it done. 

It isn’t all light kits and lift kits for Billy, though. He enjoys his off-time by spending it with his growing family. Already blessed with one beautiful daughter, Billy and his significant other are expecting! Congratulations to your family, and LEGC wishes you the best. His family doesn’t stop there, though. Thousands of his fans attend his shows and stream one of the three bands he is currently a member of. Billy has been playing drums essentially his whole life and works with Pop Metal Bands, Hardcore, and Death Metal. The pounding double kick and intense drumming are a sight to see for a fan of any genre of music.
