LEGC Employee Spotlight - Jay Powell

Lake Erie Golf Cars wants to introduce you to their employees so you know the faces you will be working with when you choose LEGC. Every so often we will highlight one of our very own and provide a little insight on who they are and what they enjoy. Today, we are going to highlight one of LEGC’s newest sales reps, Jay Powell.

Jay Powell is a recent high school graduate but is no stranger to the workforce. He began working with LEGC 3 years ago, busting his knuckles building fleet golf carts before he moved into the custom department. Working in the custom department wasn’t enough for Jay though, wanting to deal more directly with the customers. He decided to transition over to the sales staff and be on the front line of the golf cart industry. 

He isn’t only a rising sales rep, he is also a Browns and Cavs fan rooting for the home teams in his downtime. Another interesting reason to transition into sales was fashion and being able to wear clothes that more fit his persona, instead of rolling out of the bed and throwing on a t shirt. Well, he is going to have to dress for success if he wants to look good in that BMW M8 he dreams about. Keep at it Jay, and you’ll get there!
