Maybe, you have seen our ads or other ones advertising a new style of golf cart and wondered, what is the big deal? You have seen the forward-facing seats and have wondered, what else does the E-Z-GO Liberty have in store for us? What is in there that I don’t see? Let’s break down some of the finer points of the Liberty and see why it is a revolutionary golf cart. 

I’ve got the Power

This vehicle is part of the ELiTE line of electric golf carts that feature a Samsung Lithium battery. This battery drastically changes the performance of the golf cart to make it more efficient and faster to charge. You may see charging speeds up to twice as fast as your standard lead-based batteries. These batteries are maintenance-free. That means no more watering the cells and getting battery acid all over. It also means no corrosive build-up on the terminals. And if that wasn’t enough, they have an unprecedented 8-year warranty, which is the longest in the industry. 

Features on Features

There are quite a few options on the new Liberty that make it stand apart from the others. There is a hitched mounting receiver for a four bag attachment or storage holder. The interior has a completely different look as well, with an option for a locking glove box, mats, and a shelf. The new Liberty has an optimized wheelbase that gives you a tighter turning radius and enhanced maneuverability. 

But Those Seats Though…

We won’t totally ignore the forward-facing seats in this blog, though. This is the first thing you notice about the golf cart and one of their advertising points. There may be nothing wrong with sitting on a seat facing the opposite direction you are going, but I think we would all prefer to face forward. E-Z-GO has taken their setup on the six-passenger and converted it to what we see in the Liberty.
