Seems like everyone is hiring these days. Lake Erie Golf Cars is hiring in multiple positions but with this industry being outside of the “norms”, there are questions. What is it like to work at LEGC? What all do they do? So, we thought taking a closer look at some of the roles available would help answer those questions.

What does LEGC do?

There are two main facets of Lake Erie Golf Cars. One is to buy and sell golf carts and accessories. The other is to provide fleets of golf carts to golf courses and maintenance. There is also a parts department to support both functions in-house. This provides better service for the golf course or customers who need parts or accessories. Each one of these departments depends on each other and work hand in hand to accomplish the job.

On the Road Again…

One of the positions that is critical to LEGC, are the road technicians. These techs are in the field servicing weekly routes for all of the golf courses that LEGC leases golf carts to. Their route takes them all over Ohio depending on their location. They are tasked with maintaining the fleet of golf carts and assessing any golf carts that are not working properly. If the golf carts can be repaired, they fix them and move on to the next course. LEGC is currently hiring for this position in various areas so please reach out to see what is available.

Production Must Go On

Another backbone at LEGC is the production department. They are responsible for building new golf carts for customers, new fleets, or carts to stock the showroom. This may include something as simple as adding tops and windshields or doing full-out rebuilds and refurbishing them. This is another position that LEGC is hiring for. What’s the best thing about it? Besides being steady pay, the work is straight-forward and will keep you busy to make the days fly by.
